Praise God! Recently, 110 Audio Bibles, shipped from The Regeneration Center (TRC), arrived safely in Ghana. Thanks to Christian Outreach Fellowship (COF), all 110 Bibles have been distributed to villages in the north.
Here is a report from Emmanuel, COF Executive Director, regarding the recent distribution:

No words could express the joy and gratitude the Timothies (local church planters) and their communities showed when they received the donation of audio Bibles from the Regeneration Center through their local partner, Christian Outreach Fellowship.
Their joy and gratitude was premised on the fact that Northern Ghana remains a deprived area in terms of human and material resources for the evangelization and discipleship of the area. The limited number of Christian workers overstretch themselves beyond limit in order to minister to the spiritual and other needs of the people. The audio Bibles therefore were seen as a great resource to complement their discipleship efforts.
For the recipient communities and their leaders, their joy and gratitude sprang from the fact that they are largely non-literate and depend on orality as a way of communication, hence the Bibles are well suited for their use. Additionally, the audio Bibles will boost their sense of togetherness and will above all, enable them to learn the Word of God.
At one of the beneficiary communities, as they were being taught and shown how to operate an Audio Bible, a gentleman by the name of Samson Limeel exclaimed to me ‘During your next visit, even the children in this village will tell you the story we are hearing’. This was when they were listening to the story of the birth of Jesus being so clearly narrated in their mother-tongue.
It is our prayer that the people’s excitement will be translated into transformed lives as they become doers of the Word and not hearers only.
