‘Bibles to Ghana’ Ministry Sees New Generation of Leadership
The audio bibles were introduced to the churches in the Dama Nkwanta Mission field in 2015.
But in order to maximize the new resources, they needed people who knew how to use the audio bibles for evangelism. Some members of the local churches volunteered and participated in a Discovery Bible Study (DBS). They underwent massive training on how to operate the audio bible, how to discover the truth of the Bible for themselves, and also how to use the audio bible to evangelize, win, and disciple more souls.
In 2019, batches of the audio Bibles were distributed to them in order to facilitate their ministry of evangelism. These ordinary churchgoers who availed themselves to be trained, mentored and discipled, are now church leaders and departmental heads of the various churches in the Dama Nkwanta mission field. Not only that, but there are new churches planted as a result of the audio Bible ministry.
The names of these leaders are:
- Elder Emmanuel Naja – Leader at the Beposo church
- Prince Maando – Sunday school teacher in Dama Nkwanta
- Nelson Tonja – Youth leader in Dama Nkwanta
- Elijah Tiboriwir – Leader at the Church of Pentecost
- Joseph N-yilgnan – Sunday school teacher at Primucheae, Assembly of God Church
- Michael Laabe – Leader in charge of youth in Dama Nkwanta
- Daniel Nnaankola – Leader at Abua Church
- Joshua Salma – Leader in Fakwasi- Zongo church
- Johnson Jagri – Leader in Fakwasi- Sika Nti church
- Akwasi Fictor – Leader at the Nyomoase church
They all testified that before the introduction of the audio Bibles and their discipleship training, they had no idea how to lead, evangelize, win or disciple souls. However, thanks to God and the audio bible ministry, they are now faithful leaders and effective ministers of the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ. All glory to God.
