An update from Emmanuel, director of COF.
With a joyful heart we sing praises to God for his immeasurable love and provision throughout the years despite difficulties we may have encountered in the ministry of God.
Ghana has been facing many economic challenges since the beginning of the year 2022 which have made livelihood very difficult. These crises forced the government of Ghana to go to the IMF to seek financial support. As a result of the domestic debt exchange program to reschedule the country’s debt portfolio, our local donors have had their investments reduced through haircuts. This has affected our retiree donors who have invested their monies in government bonds and therefore this has adversely affected our local donations.
However, supports we received from our local and international partners have helped us to steer through these economic challenges. We have been able to assist our missionaries in the field with income to support their ministry and their families. The COF office is also functioning as well which has enabled us to conduct ministry successfully to the end of the year.
In all things we give glory to God for his numerous blessings and provision.
