Meet Obed Iddrisu (center), a missionary serving among the people of Bole in the Savannah Region of Northern Ghana. Although he grew up Muslim, he converted to Christianity in 1999. As a result of his conversion, his father disowned him and even tried poisoning him through his food. Despite all persecution and resistance from his family, Obed remained steadfast in his faith, thanks to the grace and strength of our Lord Jesus.
Christian Outreach Fellowship (COF) set Obed up as an apprentice for a screen printing and sign-writing business so that he would learn a life skill and have a way to support himself. A few years later, in 2002, he enrolled as a missionary of COF.
Today, Obed is the Head Pastor of the Kingdom Light Ministry in Bole. He is married with three children. He combined his screen printing work and his ministry together, where he earns income to support his family and to continue his ministry.
Obed continues to faithfully heed God’s calling, pouring his life into reaching the unreached and unchurched people groups of Ghana and leading them to the Kingdom of God. His ministry, heavily bolstered by the use of audio Bibles, has impacted many lives and communities previously deprived of the word of God.

- Pray that through constant study of the word of God, all souls won for the Kingdom of God will grow and mature in the knowledge Christ Jesus.
- Pray for all our missionaries and their families. Pray that they find solace in the Holy Spirit to do more for the gospel as they reach the unreached people of God.
- Pray for the ministry of the audio Bible. Pray that many unreached and unchurched people groups will come to know Christ through this ministry.
- Pray for our partners and sponsors whose prayer support and gifts continue to propel our ministry.
