Man at La Cosecha shows improvement

A few months ago, a government agency dropped a man off at La Cosecha. Nothing was known about him except his name, Mario, and the fact that he suffers from seizures, paralysis, and muteness.

Since his arrival, Mario has been receiving physical therapy in the shelter. He is no longer suffering from seizures, but unfortunately, there hasn’t been much improvement in his mobility. The muscles in his right arm and leg are very damaged, and his left side is still very weak. He still needs assistance to eat, bathe, and use the bathroom.

Although the physical progress is slow, the emotional changes have been evident. He has become increasingly more relaxed and calm as the days go by. Although Mario doesn’t have the ability to speak, his sounds of discomfort and restless demeanor have lessened, says Oti, founder of La Cosecha.

The government agency that brought Mario to them continues to search for family members, but so far they’ve come up empty.

Please continue to pray for this man, that he might experience the peace and comfort that Jesus offers, and that his physical therapy will continue to heal his body.

La Cosecha is a recovery house in Oaxaca, Mexico, which focuses on helping people overcome their addictions through the power of the Holy Spirit. Click here to learn more about La Cosecha.
